This client had recently purchased the dwelling because of the unusual layout - due to the fact that the property was built on a sloping site and most of the rear Garden was almost 2m above ground-floor level, the previous owners had arranged the accomodation with the Kitchen and a Double Bedroom on the ground floor with the largely open-plan Lounge on the first-floor with a Bathroom in one corner. This layout provided access to the rear Garden from the first-floor living accomodation.
The brief was to provide 2 additional Bedrooms and obscure the Bathroom Door from the main living area. As you can see from the Layout Drawings; this was achieved whilst retaining the existing detached Garage and providing a covered Car-Port and access through to the rear Garden area.
